Reminder
Personal spaces and subscription services leave in August
We have found that custom, contract-based plans allow us to better support our customers. To that end, we are sunsetting our subscription-based service plans (Bluescape Go, Pro, and Business). If you have a subscription-based account and are interested in keeping your account by upgrading to our enterprise product, please fill out this form.
Personal spaces are being removed from all plans. If team members have used their personal spaces, they will need to move the content to your team space.

Features
Export multi-page document
Users can now export a selection of canvases as a multi-page PDF. The export feature can be found in the workspace settings menu or in the overflow menu when selecting multiple canvases.

Canvas presentation with canvas carousel
Canvas carousels allow users to select and organize canvases to auto-present content. Carousels are great for monitoring operational content or stepping through a presentation.

New document viewer
The document viewing experience has been overhauled for improved performance and usability:

Live text updates
Users can now see updates to text in real-time and an indication when another user is editing text when using text-based objects such as text boxes, shapes, and notecards.

Support for embedded iFrame code
Bluescape now supports adding web content from embed code for richer and more flexible web content. Simply paste the html embed code within the iFrame tags when adding a web object.

Checkbox list option for text
Users can now add checkboxes to text-based objects from the text control bar.

Additional Improvements & Bug Fixes
Drag and drop from the workspace toolbar and panels
Users can now drag and drop objects in the toolbar, such as shapes or icons, to add them to the workspace.

Icon placement & usability
The icon search and placement experience has been improved for better ease of use. Users can search through the entire icon library from the Shapes and Icons panel and place icons from the results directly into the workspace.

New flowchart shapes
Additional shapes have been added to the Shapes and Icons panel for flow charting exercises.

Improved text control bars
The control bars for text objects have been improved and unified across edit and non-edit modes.

Improved Copy/Paste
Several changes have been made to improve the experience when copying and pasting content.

Editable object titles
Titles for objects such as documents, images, and videos can be easily modified by double-clicking the title.

Updates to the Pen tool
- Change color of pen strokes. Users can now change the color of existing annotation and highlights made with the pen tool.
- Highlighter option. A highlighter option is now available for the Pen tool.

Ability to enter text edit mode when object is multi-selected
Double-clicking an object when it is part of a multi-selection will now immediately put the user into text edit mode.

Updated View Settings
The View settings options of the Workspace settings menu have been updated to better reflect their behavior.

Text size changes when scaling notecards
Notecard text now automatically scales when notecards are resized.

Snap extended notecard back to square
Notecards that have been modified to have non-square aspect ratios can now be snapped back to square by resizing either the width or height.

Reactions added to text
Users can now add reactions to text objects.

“Link to” button update
Improved the visibility of the arrow button at higher zoom levels when using the “Link to” feature.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed and issue where the tooltip for hyperlinks would occasionally remain visible for longer than intended.
- Fixed an issue where changes to the text alignment of a notecard would not be reflected for remoted users if no text was added.
- Fixed an issue where the shadow of notecards was clickable and would highlight the notecard when hovered over.
- Fixed an issue where the canvas was not selectable when clicking the edge of the canvas in the top left area near the canvas title.
- Fixed an issue where the 4-directional handle for the web object would sometimes drift when using the Bluescape for Large Format Display application.
- Fixed an issue where creating a shape by clicking and dragging would unintentionally allow users to flip or mirror them.
- Fixed an issue where pen strokes made outside of a canvas would sometimes appear when the canvas was presented.
- Fixed an issue where comment indicators would occasionally not appear on certain areas of images.
- Fixed an issue where resizing an object when holding alt/cmd would fail to resize the object from the center anchor point.
- Fixed an issue where using the “s” shortcut the user were unable to immediately place a shape or icon using the “s” shortcut after placing an icon from the recent icon list.
- Fixed an issue where the text margins on line labels would change based on the direction of line.
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to resize shapes after converting them from notecards.
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to perform certain actions with objects if the comments panel was open.
- Fixed an issue where the “Download” and “Add to collection” buttons would sometimes disappear from images after they were selected.
- Fixed an issue where text pasted into a workspace as text or a notecard would not snap to grid when Grid or Both was the chosen “Snap to” setting.
- Fixed an issue where under certain conditions the cursor would move to the end of a text row when modifying text after changing the text size.
