December 2022 Release Notes Summary

Features

Object Rotation :wheel:

Bluescape users can now rotate objects (Strokes, Shapes, Notecards, and a full 360 degrees within a workspace (see Support Note).

Support Note
The Wall client is not currently compatible with the Object Rotation feature. This feature has been proactively disabled for most wall clients. If you are a wall client and would like this feature re-enabled OR if this feature has not been disabled and you would prefer that Object Rotation is off, Reply to this thread.

Popsync Image Curation :framed_picture:

Image curation is now available in Bluescape. This allows you to create and manage your curated image collections, allowing you to save and share your workspace with anyone. All users can add an unlimited number of images to their collection. Registered users can locally download an unlimited number of images, and unregistered users can download up to two images.

Social Sharing :mailbox:

Like sharing on your socials? Also new to Bluescape for December, users can easily share specific canvases or elements on social networks Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. These posts are generated with proper thumbnails to provide a preview of the shared element. Clicking on that link, external users see exactly what they were expected to see viewing the thumbnails.

Export Voted Content

We’ve enhanced the ability for Workspace owners and editors to export their voted content for easy data gathering. Previously, users could only download text. In December, we added more metadata and aggregated reaction count to your ZIP format file export.

Pre-Provisioning Users

Enterprise Customers who block external emails for security purposes can now connect users to Bluescape with a pre-provisioned password that can be configured and re-generated by the Bluescape Organizational Administrator.

Note: This feature is limited to Enterprise customers only. Pre-provisioning must be enabled by Bluescape Support. Contact us by replying on-thread to this topic for further assistance.

Leave a workspace

Need to leave a workspace? You can now do so by accessing the :more_options: button on the workspace and selecting the Leave Workspace option.

Note: This is only for workspaces shared with you as a user. Team workspaces are static.

Delete Your Bluescape account

If you are a Bluescape Go user and would like to delete your Bluescape account, you can now do so from Bluescape Home. Simply open your profile by selecting your initials. Then, scroll down to Delete account, enter your password, and confirm.

Note: The Delete Account feature is for free license users only. Teams, Business, and Enterprise users should contact their Organizational Administrator with any Bluescape-related account questions.

Notable Improvements

Meeting Improvements

Great news for Bluescape Go users - Free meetings now have a maximum of 60 minutes, and up to 15 participants.

Workspace Sharing Enhancement

You can now share a workspace with another user with a one-click share to enter the invitee’s email address. Add multiple email addresses at once in the same box using Copy > Paste. This new Copy-Paste functionality replaces the upload via CSV file previously present.
