Workspace collaborators can invite visitors via the visitor’s email to participate in remote or hybrid work, even if the visitor does not belong to the same or any existing Team (for example, even for visitors without a Bluescape license).

When you’re invited to a workspace as a visitor via email, you will need to follow these steps to gain access:

An administrator or collaborator will invite you to a workspace, using whatever email address you’ve provided, and set your collaborator permissions.

Once added to the workspace, you’ll receive an introductory email from notifications@us.bluescape.com with the subject line “You can now access Bluescape”.
Note: If you don’t receive the email notification, check your Junk or Spam folder. If you don’t see the email in any inbox, the collaborator who invited you can resend the invitation. You can even provide them with these instructions on how to Resend a Visitor Invitation.
Additionally, an email invitation to visitors expires after 14 days. If you don’t accept the invitation within that timeframe, a new invitation will need to be sent. -
Click Access Workspace.

The account creation page opens in your internet browser. Here, you must enter your name, the same email address which received the invite, and a password.

Select Get started to complete the login process.
You can now access the workspace to which you were invited.
Note: Your role and capabilities in a workspace as a visitor depending on the permissions that the collaborator sets when sending the invitation. The visitor role does come with some limitations:
- From the Workspaces list in My Bluescape, visitors can only view the workspaces they have been invited to access
- Visitors cannot create new workspaces
- Visitors cannot invite other visitors and collaborators to view a workspace
- They can see the names of the other members in their workspace but cannot view the names of members in the Team who are not part of that workspace
