The Bluescape workspace explorer makes it easy to search and navigate the content in your workspace by visualizing your content in a hierarchical view.
Accessing the workspace explorer
To access the workspace explorer:
- Log in to Bluescape and open a workspace
- Click the “Expand left panel” button in the top left corner of the workspace

Use the “c” hotkey
Note that the workspace explorer will remember whether it was open or closed when you open a workspace.
Workspace explorer interface overview
Once the workspace explorer is open, the contents of the workspace are displayed in a hierarchical “tree”.
The workspace explorer has the following interactions:

Workspace explorer view: The workspace explorer shows content in the workspace:
- Canvases will be collapsed by default. You can click the arrow next to the canvas to display its content.
- Content not in a canvas will also be shown in the default view

Filter: By using the filter drop-down at the top of the panel, you can filter specific content types, such as cards, images, or canvases.

Search: Use the search box to display any content in the workspace that matches your search term. The explorer will automatically filter out all other content until the search box is cleared.

Selecting items: Selecting an item from the explorer will automatically navigate you to that object in the workspace.
Note that Selecting the top-level object with the
icon will zoom out to view all content in the workspace -
Hovering over items: Hovering over an item will show the
(more options) button. Selecting this button will navigate you to the object and display the available options for it.
