PDF Rendering is Blurry if the Selected Area is Over 4MB

In Bluescape, when you attempt to export a workspace to PDF, the image is blurry, causing the text to be illegible.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log on to Bluescape and open a workspace.
  2. Select a large area and attempt to export to PDF.
  3. Open the PDF file that generates.

Expected result

Text in the PDF is legible and image output is not blurry.

Observed result

Text and images on an generated PDF over 4MB is blurry.

Cause

This issue occurs because the maximum resolution that can be rendered visibly using Bluescape is 4MB. Anything generated to PDF, currently, cannot exceed 4MB as it does not render at full quality.

Workaround

Your monitor’s visual display can be used as a guide. If you can see the text clearly on your monitor, your output PDF should have adequate quality.
