We’ve upgraded the Bluescape experience for large-format displays. The previous Wall client is no longer available and will not be maintained. Learn how to install the native application on your device today. |
The Bluescape Enterprise Wall client supports multiple capture devices. The following points explain how this process works:
- The Windows PC hardware is the limiting factor and not the Bluescape wall client.
- The number and performance of the Inogeni 1080p HDMI capture devices is dependent on the PC hardware hosting the Wall client.
- Each capture device launched in the application requires resources on the Wall host PC.
- The 3 main resources that are being used on the host PC are CPU, system memory, and GPU.
- These resources are used when either the Wall client application launches a capture device or any other Windows application does.
- The percentage of resources used depends on the performance of the PC you are working with.
- The testing of this interaction was carried out using a Dell Precision 5820 Tower PC that hosted the Windows Wall client. The PC contained the following:
- Intel Core i9-10900X (3.7GHz, 4.7GHz Turbo, 10C, 19.25MB Cache
- Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
- Nvidia RTX4000, 8GB, 3DP, 1 USB C
- 64GB 4x16GB DDR42666 MHz UDIMM non-ECC memory
- M.2 512GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 solid-state drive
- Intel Wireless-AC 9560, Dual-band 2x2 802.11ac WiFi with MU-MIMI + Bluetooth 5
Recommendation
When using multiple Inogeni HDMI capture devices (up to 10), Bluescape recommends using at a minimum, a Dell Precision 5820 Tower PC configured as noted above.
When using up to 4 Inogeni capture devices, Bluescape recommends either the Dell Precision 5820 Tower PC, or the Dell Precision 3440 Small Form Factor PC with the following specifications:
- Intel Core™ i9-10900 (10 Core, 20M cache, base 2.8GHz, up to 5.2GHz)
- Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
- NVIDIA Quadro P1000, 4GB, 4mDP to DP adapters
- 32GB 2x16GB DDR4 2666MHz UDIMM non-ECC memory
- M.2 512GB PCIe NVM eClass 40 solid-state drive
- Intel Wireless-AC 9560, Dual-band 2x2 802.11ac WiFi with MU-MIMI + Bluetooth 5
