Linux: Wall application does not automatically update

Steps to reproduce

  1. See the green icon in the top left of the display, indicating a new app version is available.
  2. Wait overnight for an automatic update and observe if updated.

Expected result

The wall application has been updated to the latest version, and a new version number can be seen.

Observed result

The update has not occurred, and the green icon is still visible.

Workaround

Manually restart the wall application from the system info menu.
