Can I recover a group of objects I accidentally deleted?

I just created a fairly complex diagram, then accidentally deleted it. I cannot find a way to recover it. The “Undo” button is grayed-out. If I look at the activity feed and click any action in the past, I see “This object has been removed.”

I’m having a hard time believing that this work is lost forever because of a single fat-finger … but there doesn’t seem to be any way to get my workspace back to a previous state.

Hello @jamesriley101 , I will start a private message with you to prevent any PII. Please respond there. To recover the missing content, we can roll back the affected workspace to a specific date and time it was last present; any content added after that date and time will be removed due to the rollback. To ensure no further data loss, please have the Workspace owner duplicate the affected workspace first. We can perform the rollback on either the original or duplicate copy. You can continue to work in whichever workspace does NOT have the rollback performed. However, once the rollback is complete, you must copy/paste the added content to the latter workspace.

To move forward, we will need the following information:

  1. The full URLs of the original and duplicate workspace.
  2. Original: URL of the original workspace.
  3. Duplicate: Please request the workspace owner to duplicate the workspace and provide the URL.
    1. Request the workspace owner to navigate to https://client.apps.us.bluescape.com/my.
    2. Locate the workspace in question.
    3. Select “…” for more options and click “Duplicate”.
    2.Important*: Verify the workspace was successfully duplicated, i.e., open the duplicate workspace and verify all content is present.
  4. Do you want the original or duplicate copy reverted?
  5. Please note that collaborators and permissions are not transferred to duplicate copies.
  6. Confirm the exact revert back to date, time & timezone. (i.e., October 4th, 2024 @ X:XXPM PST/CST/EST)

Please note the following:

  • The rollback will take 24-48 hours to reflect in the workspace after the rollback is executed.
  • The activity feed in the workspace will not be reset; a fix for this issue is planned for a future release.
