Cody Doell, Bluescape’s marketing intern, created a Bluescape workspace as a sample use case to map out a virtual timeline of the famously decadent (yet environmentally conscious) Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Kohala Coast, Hawai’i.
Using the tools available in the workspace, such as shapes, Popsync, image uploads, text, and more, Cody tells a visual story about the hotel’s history. The best part? The future is unwritten. The last blank canvas in the image above leaves space for each collaborator to upload pictures, experiences, and memories of their time at the hotel to reflect on and capture a moment in the hotel’s history.
The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has been a staple on the island of Hawai'i for more than five decades. It was developed by Laurance S. Rockefeller and was the first resort on the island and has since welcomed generations of travelers to embrace the island's spirit, the warmth of its people, and the rejuvenating capacity of the ocean that surrounds it.-Megan Ranger, Copywriter, Bluescape
