Sharing a Custom Template (Web)

You can share your custom templates with fellow Bluescapers! If you are an Admin, you can share templates with all users in the Organization.

To share a custom template:

  1. Create a custom template.

  2. Click the name of the template to open the canvas toolbar.

  3. Click the Screen Shot 2022-01-04 at 10.35.22 AM (More) icon. A Context menu opens.

  4. Click Create Template.

  5. The Add Template window opens. Click the Share Template toggle to the right to set it to the blue “on” position.

  6. Click Next.

  7. To share the template with certain users only, click the Share with individual(s) option.

  8. Type the email address(es) of the user(s) you want to share the template in the Email Address field.

  9. Click their name(s) from the drop-down list to select them.

  10. Use the drop-down menu to assign each collaborator a user role when accessing the template. Select Editor if you want to allow them to update the template. Select Viewer if you do not.

  11. Click Add.

  12. Click Share.

Your shared template will appear in the template picker for the individuals specified.

If you are an administrator, you can share the templates with all users in your organization. To do so:

  1. Click the Share with organization option in the Share Template window. Note that everyone in the organization can view the template, but only you may edit it.
  2. Assign the template a category using the drop-down menu.
  3. You can also assign the template a new category by clicking the Add new category button.
  4. The Add new category pop-up opens. Type the desired name in the Template Category field.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Share.

The shared template will now be available for the entire organization!

Note: You can only share templates with users in a template-enabled Organization. Talk to your administrator for more details.
