Commenting on Assets

Comments allow you to leave notes or messages and communicate with workspace collaborators. For example, you can comment on an asset, and collaborators can respond – thereby beginning a conversation thread.

Create a comment

  1. Select the asset on which you want to comment.

  2. Select :comments: (Comments) on the object toolbar. A Chat & Comments pane appears.

  3. Enter your remarks in the Comments tab and select Send.

Note: You can also find the Comments option within :more_options: (More) on the object toolbar.

Comment indicators

After comments have been made on an object, a comment indicator will appear. There are three types of indicators you can see:

Note: The indicators will always remain on the objects so long as there is at least one comment posted. If you prefer to turn the indicators off, you can do so via the workspace settings menu.

Comment on a specific area of an image

To add a comment to a specific part of your image upload:

  1. Select an image within your workspace.

  2. Select :comments: (Comment) on the image toolbar.

  3. Hover your cursor over the image. Your cursor will change from :select: (Select) to :comments: (Comment).

  4. Select the area on which you want to comment.

  5. Enter your remarks in the Comments tab.

Your comment appears in line with other comments, and a thumbnail of your profile picture appears on the image, indicating that you have left a comment.
